I'm going to try and start an RP based on Ancient Rome. I have 2 possible campaign settings.

1. Takes place during the Late Republic where the group gets caught in the middle of war between Marius and Sulla.

2. The walking dead have attacked the roman empire and its up to the players to survive and find the cause.

Naturally the players don't have to all be Romans. Gauls, Germans, Greeks, Scythians, what have you, are all available.
