| Hey guys, I have shared this poem on other forums in the past, and I figured I would go ahead and share it here as well. I am definitely not a poet, but I was bored and I wrote this at school a while back.
Seventeen Drops
Seventeen drops of blood and pain,
I lose myself along the way.
All in all, I forget
That one and only terrible regret.
Seventeen years old, and still I lack
The patience for this very task,
To this day, I look to the past,
And I remember all of my mistakes.
Seventeen days before I die,
I long to live it one more time.
And as I see the end, I confess.
Life couldn’t have been a bigger mess.
