Pure is about a young girl named Pressia and a young boy named Partridge. Pressia lives in poverty, outside of the so-called Dome, where people of money lives. Partridge is the child of the "Leader" in the Dome, whereas Pressia is struggling for her life, after there have been a worldwide explosion, leaving everyone deformed. Pressia is one of those, who got away "cheap". Her right hand (If I remember correctly) is a doll's head.
Partridge.. well.. he believes that his mother is alive outside of the Dome and wants to find her, but of course he cannot go out from the safety of the white, so he has sneak out. Well... they meet.. they don't fall in love.. there's a lot of blood, tears, loss.. And the Pure - Partridge - loses his purity.
