Please read above before reading on, it is important that you understand that this is a HORROR Roleplay. It is night, New Years Eve, 12.00 PM SHARP. You see a tendril flicker across your wall. Well -- that's what you think it was. You have never been afraid of the dark but now you are. Your heart is beating inside your stomach and your eyes are glued to your wall. You have never been so scared in your life. You blink and when your eyes open back up, that is when you see him... IT. That white face drilling into your soul until all goes black. Kids are being abducted, innocent teens living ordinary lives. No one knows where to, know one knows how. Not even the glimpse of a scream has been heard or the muffle of a voice. Parents are desperate for their children back and things are going hectic. These kids are between the age of 13 and 18, young and curious. You awake in a dense forest, trees looming over you and the sound of a owl hooting in the distance sends a chill through your body. You shiver, your whole body shaking. You collect your memory and remember that face... the darkness... the tendril. You shake your head, Just a dream, just a dream. You think to yourself, chuckling as you stand. You feel tired and hungry, you look around. Trees, trees and more trees. Maybe there'll be a cabin somewhere around here. You nod as you set off looking for some sort of food until you realize, how can you be starved in a dream? You laugh again, this a pretty advanced dream. Maybe you just have a broad imagination, in the distance you see a cabin, a feint light flickering through the window. You see something in the distance. Small figures, getting larger with every step, then you notice what they are. They're kids just like you and they look God darn hungry. |

| Nemo stood there leaning on a tree with ease. He saw something glimmer on the ground, he approached it and picked it up, "Mhhh" he wondered. As his life flashed before his eyes with all the information that he knows about the object, he put in his pocket, hoping that it would of use later on. He looked back up, seeing a figure in the far distance, he rubbed his eyes, when he looked again nothing was there. "Strange" saying to him self. |

| Jayson Deno moved forward hastily, rubbing his hands together in a mere attempt to ward off the biting cold. His lightweight jumper was clearly no match for the extreme temperature and the wind repeatedly blew his hair into his eyes.
Now that he was closer to the cabin, he could see the old building's features. Shattered windows, vines wrapped around the sides of the house and a roof on the verge of collapsing. Another breeze rushed past, not only carrying the cold but a blood curdling howl. It sounded close. This was a clear incentive for him to move at a quicker pace.
For the first time in the past ten minutes, he observed the four other kids that also headed to the wooden structure. Four boys and one girl. The female looked the age of 19, maybe 18, the same as another brown haired kid. One was clearly younger than him with deep red hair and a short sleeved shirt which was no math for the cold. Then there was another boy which looked around his age, skinny and tall. He returned his focus back to the cabin as it enlarged with every step. |

| Sofia awoke on the ground. She shifted, her eyelids flickering, and as she came to the realization that this was not her bed and she was not in her home, fear shot through her. Her fingers dug into the soft earth and clutched at bits of branches and leaves. No, certainly not home—it was a forest of some sort. Scrambling to her feet, Sofia gasped for breath. She turned in a circle, her shoes shuffling against the ground, and took in her surroundings. Her heart thumped in her chest, and she clutched her hands to her sides. What was going on? Where the hell was she? Had she walked in her sleep? Sofia strained her brain to ever remember a time that she had sleepwalked, but nothing came to mind. Her brain struggled to remain in control of her emotions as fear rose higher. She needed to think things through carefully and not allow panic to set in. Calm down, she told herself, and then she repeated it again as she forced herself to take in the surroundings. It was night, that was clear. And it was a forest. Well, there were several forests around her house, so that didn’t tell her much. But she knew most of them pretty well, so there was that. The trees and branches and fallen logs surrounding her didn’t look overtly familiar, but maybe this was just a different angle than she was used to, and she would figure it out soon enough. And there were other people—Sofia saw them now. Some were looking around, confused just like her. Others were still asleep. Sofia drew in a sharp breath. “Hello?” she called out. “Hello? Where are we?” |

| "Hello?", the effeminate voice called out to him in the distance. It was a weak voice, coated over by the frailty of someone who had been deprived, for days, of the basic essentials required to survive. But its tone was sharp and direct, assertive in a way that made Lucien's hair stand on end. "H-huh?", Lucien found his body frozen in place, frozen not because of the harsh and unforgiving temperatures that this forest of madness he found himself trapped in subjected him to. No, it was as though this voice had commanded Lucien's body to cease all functions and acknowledge its presence. "Hello? Where are we?"The voice called out again. It was calm, but spoken with absolute sense of authority, as though demanding that the forest itself certify its owner's existence and answer any questions it may have immediately and without delay. Overbearing as the voice might be, it was undeniably Human; informing Lucien that although he was in the presence of a complete stranger, he was not alone. "Where are we?" It was a simple question, one that Lucien himself wish he had knew the answer to, if only to satiate the demands of the imperious voice being directed his way. The question could not possibly be more relevant to the situation, under the circumstances. Lucien put the voice aside for the moment and returned to his senses. Really now, where was he? More importantly, how did he get here? The last memory Lucien had before awaking to this forest was lying in bed from terrible sickness, staring blankly at his wall...and then...nothing? And this new environment was far from being a pleasant one; an isolated forest with freezing temperatures, all sense of direction being swept away by the icy cold winds and general disorientation. To make matters worse, Lucien's hunger had been gnawing at him for awhile now. It's as though he'd gone without eating for almost a week. His sickness had completely dissipated since his arrival, but he would gladly take it back if it meant returning to his warm bed with his caring parents to watching over him...nursing him back to health with the purest form of love and his mother's special chicken noodle soup... No. He couldn't think about that right now. If he let himself be lulled into his warmer memories, he could very well become trapped in them and succumb to the cold of this new environment. Sighing, and hugging himself closer to keep out the cold, Lucien resolved himself to examining his surroundings once more, though he knew it probably would not make much difference. It was the same depressing sight as it was when he first regained consciousness; tree after tree in every and all directions...no signs of civilization. The occasional boulder or log dotted the landscape, and there was a gloomy looking cabin off in distance. Lucien wondered to himself if there were any animals in the forest. He hadn't really been paying attention to whether or not there were, and hoped there were no predators about... Wait a minute... What? A cabin? Lucien rewound his gaze, and sure enough, off to a short traversable distance was a gloomy and decrepit cabin. It was quite the shoddy sight; complete with broken windows and overgrown foliage, as though the forest was trying reclaim back the land it stood on. Lucien rubbed his eyes several times. If this was a hallucination, it was a cruel trick for the mind to play. But rub and rub as he might, the cabin remained within his vision. An actual building. A sign of civilization. It might be too much to hope for that someone was still actually living in such a dilapidated old structure, but at the very least, it offered the possibility of shelter. Heck, there might even be food! The flow of both blood and hope returned simultaneously to Lucien at the very thought. Almost losing himself to his daydreams, Lucien snapped back to reality once a new sound had entered his ears...footsteps. Footsteps?! In the midst of disorientation and being lost in thought, the fact that there was another stranger in his environment had completely slipped his mind. It must be the owner of the voice, Lucien thought, as feelings of fear and sheer terror began to rise. He had never been very good with strangers and he did not know the intentions of this one. Anxiety filled Lucien's body and he gave himself to the pure instincts of survival, taking off in a swift sprint towards the direction of the cabin, hoping that whoever the voice belonged to would not seek to impede him... - Red Herring wrote:

| Macintosh walked slowly through the forest. The dead leaves and old twigs crunched softly between the soles of his worn shoes. He panted heavily, like an exhausted dog, as he too was exhausted, tired and so very very hungry. In the distance he saw the dark figure of a cabin. He also saw another kid walking towards the cabin. He looked like a boy. Macintosh didnt care though. He simply walked on towards the cabin, hoping to find refuge inside, and maybe food, he thought desperately, his stomach growling. But who was standing besides the cabin, he wondered also. "What the?" he thought aloud. He stared the figure in the face, even though he couldn't clearly see it as to lack of light. He suddenly felt the very essence of himself being drawn away, his soul vanishing. Suddenly, the figure vanished, and Macintosh felt normal again. "That" he panted. " was wierd." He continued walking onwards to the cabin. |

| Jayson could now hear voices, unsure if they were spoken from the lips of a human being or if it was all in his head. The silhouettes of the children advanced towards the cabin at a slow pace, he could feel himself doing the same even though his interest was piqued, curious what the cabin held. Hopefully food, even some mere scraps he could eat. He would be satisfied if he could at least get something into his stomach.
"Who's..." He mumbled at first, too afraid to elevate his voice. "Can you guys... hear me?" He words were louder but still quiet. He didn't know why he said this, maybe to confirm he wasn't just in another ludicrous dream. He returned his focus to the cabin ahead, the light still flickering from a shattered a window. A curtain whipped in the breeze eerily, giving of a faint whipping sound.
He remembered when he was a child, he had seen a structure similar to this before when he was travelling with his parents. It was in the middle of the desert, desolated and empty. He had explored it with his sister, scavenging through cupboards and searching in rooms for something the had some sort of value.
He blinked, the cabin was not around ten steps away, he was more concerned for his hunger other than the children that were coming closer to him with every second. |

| Sofia shivered and wrapped her arms over her chest. At least it would have been nice if she had grabbed a coat before taking a mysterious walk through the woods. As it were, she had on a pair of flannel pajamas, a t-shirt and a pair of tennis shoes—not the ideal wardrobe for wandering in the woods at night. No one really answered her question, though others replied with their own similar questions. It appeared that everyone was gravitating towards the same central area, and as Sofia looked up, her eyes fixed on a cabin in the distance. Not wanting to be left behind in the woods, she picked up her pace and followed the others towards the mysterious building. |

| Nemo saw a few other people going towards a wooden shack, but he didn't want to know who they were, all he wants it get out this hell world. "Strange, what would people what from a cabin?" he curiously asked him self. He decided to walk over there to see what the commotion was all about. "What is, happening?" he asked a person who was competing him, on his quest. |

| "What do you mean, what's going on. We're hungry, man, and that cabin is our only hope" he told the arrogant child. He walked on, and finally reached the cabin, and began walking up the wooden steps, the boards creaking beneath his feet. He slowly reached his hand for the door, and hesitated, scared of what he might find beyond the door. Then, deciding it was hell anyway, he slowly opened the rotting old creaking door. When he opened it, he saw the same figure that made him feel soulless. As soon as he saw him he disappeared. "What the hell?" he asked himself.
He saw a bunch of small children huddled up in a corner. They're eyes were white and empty. It seems the mysterious figure took your very soul, your very self, what made you you. They were skinny, and looked so very hungry. He slowly walked past them, scared they might eat him. But then, as that silly thought came to mind, he realized it could very much happen.
He walked into the next room, and shut the door tightly behind him. In front of him was a cupboard. He hurriedly searched it. He found empty cans and old plastic wrappings. But then, as he went to close it, he saw two full cans, full of chunky beans. He was about to rip open and eat, but remembered the others outside. He hurriedly walked past the group of children, and outside again. He saw the kid he had recently talked to. "Hey you, kid" he said, holding up the cans of food. "I found food, and I thought...you know...we could..we...share it between ourselves and the others" he mumbled, as he walked up to him. "I mean, I know we're all starving, and I'm not one to be selfish and greedy, so I thought we could share it out" he mumbled, feeling stupid. He awaited the kids reply. |

| Nemo looked up and down to the man, "Umm ok, if you insist" taking it quickly and gnawing into it. Finishing it quickly fulfilled his hunger, "Thanks" he said while smacking his hands.
He looked around the cabin carefully for supplies that he could use, he then saw a mouse scatter quickly underneath a chair, he approached the chair, he then moved the chair with all his strength, noticing something "What is that?" He thought to him-self, picking it up "Do you know what this is?" He held it in his hands showing it the person, he doesn't know the name to. |

| Jayson noticed a kid scuttle from the cabin, holding cans of food which he passed to another kid. He moaned as he watched them hastily devour the food, ripping into it with delight. At least they would survive for longer now. He could feel his stomach rumble, just standing here wouldn't help his hunger the pleaded for food.
Jayson rushed to the cabin's entrance, pausing at the threshold, taking a look at the interior. Shelves were lined against the rules, a small stove in the corner and a fridge lying on the ground. They all looked empty, but, nevertheless, he rushed forward, a strange feeling tingling over his body. He rummaged through shelf after shelf, finding the exact same thing: Nothing. On his left, he found an entrance to another, small room. He moaned, the hunger growing. He stepped into the room, that strange feeling had grown stronger.
This room contained cupboards stacked against the walls, organized in a messy fashion. He noticed a massive line of ants leading to one of the larger cupboards located in the corner of the room. This one was different, it had rope tightly secured around it, blocking anyone from opening it. Strange, there must be food in here, that'd explain all the ants.
Jayson turned his attention to finding something that could cut through the rope. He looked through the room until he found sewing equipment which contained rusted scissors. They would have to do. He returned to the rope, cutting through it, strand by strand until it slipped away. He pulled the handle. Nothing. A few ants scuttled away, frightened from the sudden movement. He tried again; this time the door budged a bit, more ants flooding through a tiny opening in the cupboard. He tried one last time as the door flung open abruptly and he saw something tumble towards him, it was a body. Pale. Limp. Wet with blood. It tumbled onto him, blood whipping over him.
Jayson screamed, he had never screamed so loudly in his life. Ants scuttled from hollow eyes sockets and over the boy which was trapped beneath the bloody body. |

| "That kid must want food" Mac said. He left the other kid to his beans, and held his can in his hajd. He walked up the creaking steps, and slowly opened the door, only to see a horrifying scene. He saw a bloody body trapping a kid beneath its wretched stench. He ran over to help, and heaved the body off. It stank so much. The ants began to scuttle over hm and bite. He hurriedly brushed them off. He helped the kid up off the ground. "Want some?" Macc asked, holding out the can. |

| Kai sat up abruptly from a bed of long grass. "What was that scream?" she mumbled to herself as she rubbed the back of her head and neck. She pulled herself off of the ground and looked around her. Nothing but trees and grass. She squinted in the darkness. Was that a light in the distance? She took a step forward, then stopped. "My knife," she said wide eyed. She frantically searched her pants pockets and jacket. Then she felt it on her belt and breathed a sigh of relief.
She continued to walk. It was surprisingly cold on this eerie night. There was a shadow to her left and she stopped. She placed a hand on her knife and stole a glance toward the cabin. When she looked back, the shadow was gone. "What the hell?" She shook her head. "I must keep moving if I want to retreat from this cold air.
As she drew closer to the cabin, she could see others in there. More children. "What is this?" she whispered. She grabbed her knife and held it at her side as she walked in. There were children, young and sickly, sitting huddled in the corner. She tried her hardest not to scowl. She walked up a small set of stairs and saw a door open. She walked toward it.
There were three boys in there. One was covered in stale blood. Posibly from the dead body on the floor. Another had blood on his hand. Perhaps he had freed the other from a foul death. And the last had bean sauce surrounding his lips. She scowled at this boy only now just realizing how hungry she was. She sighed and pocketed the knife. "What is going on here?" she asked loudly, her voice practically booming in the small, quiet space. |

| "None of us know what's happening, but we all want to leave. And survive" he said looking at the girl. He shoved the body over, and walked over to the kid he helped. "Hey you ok?" he said, holding out a can of beans for him. "So, now what do we do?" he asked noone in particular. He moved his feet over the rotting floorboards. "I think e should get outta here" he said quietly, staing at the group of children. |

| Kai rolled her eyes. Of course no-one knew what was going on. She looked to the other boy. The one who hadn't spoken. He looked just like her little brother. She looked away. What I would give to see him right now. She looked back to them. "Well this sucks," she mumbled. |

| Jayson looked around, his hands shook and his heart thumped in his chest. A body had fallen on him... A dead body. He shuddered as reality kicked in as he noticed one of the kids speaking to him... 'Thanks.' He mumbled, his eyes unmoving, glued to the bloody body. 'I am... Fine. Just shocked. I guess.' His voice was low and his eyes begun to water.
He then noticed another girl, he hasn't noticed her before. Was she staring at him? This was too strange. Eating would be even more difficult for him now. After seeing a dead body, he wouldn't even be able to look at food for a long time. 'I can't eat... Just not now.' He said finally, sighing. |

| She walked up to him and eyed the food. "Do you mind if I have some?" she asked, gesturing to it. She wasn't much taller than him but that didn't really matter. She didn't know him. Her stomach rumbled and she flinched. She didn't like that noise. |

| 'I guess.' He mumbled, he would need some for himself later, 'Just leave some for me, eh?' Jayson passed the can over to her, smiling warmly as he did so. He was coming to doubt this was any kind of dream. This was too... Realistic.
Jayson looked down at the blood which was splattered over his body, still smelling the foul stench which emanated from the cropse. |

| "Thanks," she said as she grabbed the can. "I plan to leave some for you. Don't worry." She smiled and opened the can, then started to eat it gracefully. She stopped a quarter of the way down the can, but she was still hungry. She handed the can back to the boy. "Thank you," she said again and smiled. "What's your name?" she asked. She figured that if she was going to be stuck with theses guys she might as well get to know them. |

| He watched her eat the food. He had to look away, every time he closed his eyes, he could see the limp body falling on him. Over and over again. 'My name?' He looked back at her, she was holding out the tin of food. He grabbed it, muttering a thanks, 'My name is Jayson, yours?' His voice was wavering and he shuffled his feet once every minute. |

| "My name is Kai. It's nice to meet you Jayson." She bowed her head slightly. Common courtesy never left her. She had spent too long alone. She lifted her head and blushed. "Sorry. I still haven't gotten out of that habit." She looked at the other boys. "What are your names?" |
