The rangers are mysteriously disappearing and no one knows how. A small band of Ranger's remain, trained by Will. They must unravel the mystery before it's too late and they are inflicted with the disappearance.

The last of the Rangers must stand together even in the toughest of times.

We begin in the Ruins of Gorlan, hunting down a suspicious assassin.

Aragon lay his bow down quietly. He quickly climbed up a rock sort of thing, ad surveyed the area quietly. "Nothing that I can see" Aragon said quietly to Will.

Will nodded, his eyes darting through the ruins speedily. He pressed a finger to his lips as he pulled out his dagger, the metal reflecting the crimson sun high in the air.

((Wait, if I couldn't be Will, why can you be Will))

(Because someone has to be Will, something will happen to Will later in the RP though so I can be Blaze once that happens.)

((...Oh...Ok...Cool..))

Aragon watched as Will foolishly made his knife glint in the sun. "Uh, Will sir, don't you think they might be watching us, or maybe looking for a sign of people following" he said carefully.

Will said nothing, flicking his knife behind his wrist as he moved forward through the ruins, "Look for the rogue. If you see him, don't kill him." He kept his voice to a low mutter.

"Yep, sure thing" he said, drawing his bow, looking at his surroundings once more. He saw a rustle in the bush, but though it to be nothing. He saw it again, and looked at Will. "Will, look" he said quietly.

Will's eyes were drawn to where his apprentice pointed, he slowly took out his bow, pulling the string back, knocking on a fresh arrow.

"Do we shoot, or go down and investigate?" Aragon asked, holding his arrow steady and knocked.

"You. Investigate." He said after thinking briefly about the situation. He aimed at the bush, his eyes squinting.

Aragon moved quietly down to he bush and reached inside. He found something, a cloak, of mottled green one. A ranger one. It seemed mysterious. He brought it back to Will.

Will felt the cloak... "Strange." He mumbled, looking for some kind of way of recognizing whose cloak he was holding. He ran his finger through his mottled beard as he heard a whoosh of air as an arrow flew a hairs breadth past him and into a nearby tree.

"Return fire" Aragon said, letting off 5 arrows as he said it. He returned fire to the place it had been launched. He heard a muffled cry and a soft Thunk! He went down to see what happened. He found the rogue, on the floor, arrow in his arm.

Will followed, patting Aragon on the back, "Go-" Before he could finish, a rain of arrows shot down, catching will in the thighs. He dropped to the ground, moaning. "Run Aragon. Now." His head smacked against the ground and he feel unconscious.

"No way" he said. "Not now" and he picked up his master, and put him over his soldiers. He ran up to Will's horse Tug, and said the secret code. "Do you mind?". He pulled himself on, and lay Will over his lap. "Man I need my own horse" he said. He tugged the reins, and Tug began running. "Come on Tug" he said.

The arrows slowly came to a cease and Will began to moan, flicking into consciousness once again. "What happened...?" He mumbled between an anguished cry as pain shot up his legs. He looked down at where the pain was coming from and he saw arrows intruding from his legs.

"Calm Will, you've been attacked." he said soothingly. He lent over, and pulled out the arrows. "Hold up Tug. It was dangerous to apply the bandages on a moving horse. Tug halted. Aragon applied the bandages over the wounds. "We're going to see Halt, Will" he said. "See if he can make any sense of this. Looks like you'll be out of action for a while. Don't worry. I have a friend, Blaze, he'll help me with this mission. You just go home and heal" he said, riding Tug again to a steady gallop.

Will nodded, yelping quietly as pain jolted through his legs once again. He began to mumble random things to himself as his vision started to sway.

"It'll be ok Will, I promise, please. Be strong. I'll help you." he said soothingly, as he pulled Tug up in front of Halt's cabin. He pulled of Will, and got off the horse. He put Will over his shoulder, and walked up to the door and went to knock, but found Halt at the door already. "Now now, what have you done to my former apprentice" he said, eyebrows raised. "Nothing" Aragon said, half-smiling, half-sad. "We were attacked, just outside the Ruins Of Gorlan. We saw a rustle in the bush, and we went to check it out and we found this" he said, passing him the Ranger's cloak. "Then we were attacked, and I returned fire, and hit the rogue, but there must have been another one, and he shot Will" he explained. Halt rubbed his scruffy beard. "Hmm, well it seems to me, someone wants Will dead." he said. Aragon grinned. "Don't they always" he asked. "Well, yes, but this one seems to know what he's doing" he said seriously. "Well, I trust you enough, but I still don't want you out there alone. Do you have anyone that could go with you" "Yeah, my friend Blaze." Aragon replied. "Ok, take him with you, and get back to the area of attack, look for clues. I want whoever's responsible for this to be at the end of a rope." Halt said, his eyes blazing. "Yes, Halt" he said. He layed Will down on the bed, and left the house, hopped on Tug, and sent off at a steady gallop, to find Blaze.

Will's eyes flashed open, he could see Halt peering down at him with curious eyes. He sat down on the bed, the springs creaking eerily. "Hey." Will mumbled, the pain still running through his body.

Halt said nothing for a second, he still ran a finger through his beard, "Is what Aragon says true?" His voice was gruff. Will nodded slowly. His former master nodded, processing the information. He stood, the springs creaking again. He took one last glance at Will before heading out of the room, "You need rest."

Will moaned, sleep would not come to him easily and he was sure of that. Faint streaks of sunlight found their way through the window of the bedroom, catching him full in the face. He had no care for this -- he was too worried thinking of what happened recently, processing the implications. He heard a faint knock at the front door which sent his head turning in curiosity. He heard Halt's move towards the door, opening it ajar.

The last thing Will heard was the slam of wood and a muffled cry for help. He sprung to his feet, more pain jolting through his body. He moaned painfully, falling to his knees. He dragged himself to the hallway when a fist hit his head. His head lolled backwards and he fell to the ground. The last thing he saw was a boot crunch into his face.

(By the time you come back, Halt and Will are gone.)
