I finally joined. Heard about this place from dragon. I'm a roleplayer. I write. I play video games. Things. I don't know. Sometimes I roll around on the floor and flail my limbs around. Mostly when I'm trying to write introductions and make them sound semi interesting.

Welcome! I'd direct you to the rules, but I believe you have already seen them. However, you may want to check again. I took your suggestions seriously and edited up the system. Freedom of choice in situations is something I'd like to try for our staff, but you were correct in the observation that it would be too easily manipulated. It never really crossed my mind, as I wouldn't allow corrupt staff to stay on the team, but the rules now clarify that up a bit.

In response to your suggestion on the layout of the rules, I think I'll keep them as is. My logic here is that the people who just want to know the rules can easily see the list of rules without having to look at a bunch of other words. It's a lot less daunting, I think. Those who actually care about our reasoning will have the want to expend effort to scroll down and read more.

(That weekend role play was all Dragon's idea. It's his project, and he did good. :P)
