Uncharted: Golden Abyss has outstanding textures as far as mountains In the background to even textures up close. Everything you would expect on the PS3 has It on the PSV, well...very very slight difference. Terrains are very well done and little detail's like cracks In walls, vines on trees, Nathan Drakes facial expressions, lot's of bump mapping ect...very minor details but that's what makes this game a "quality" game. Reflections are superb. The animations In this game are just like the PS3 versions as far as running, walking, jumping, climbing ect...everything Is well done, only that you can't throw punches randomly, I hate that lol.
Audio 4.8 out of 5.0
My gosh the music Is great In this game especially when you go Into battle, It just makes the adrenaline rush. The main menu has the same music as uncharted: 2 Among Thieves which Is OK...but repeating the same main menu music In three different games In a row kinda gets old.
Touch pad/buttons 4.0 out of 5.0
Hmm..Not too impressed with the touch pad on this game because It's either responsive or not responsive In the same perspective. Like I could touch a cliff one time It would go but the next cliff I touch would not work so I would have to manually move drake over with the analog stick which Is frustrating at times, and certain things like CQC with an enemy and you have to swipe the screen in a certain direction and It wont work so you fail and get hit, If the game has two control schemes (touch pad, control buttons) then they should have TWO controls schemes not 65% touch and 45% game pad/control buttons.
Additional notes:
Bend studio did a very great job with this game hands down but they did have allot of features they could have added. Like when you beat the game you don't have much to do but go back to some chapters and try and find treasures you missed on the first run through the game. Uncharted does have things like mysteries that you have to unfold by finding evidence through out the chapters. And other things you can collect like glyphs, coins (spanish silver) In category to Rare, scarce, or common, even tarrot cards. All these can be traded through the "Black Market" by using the "NEAR" Application which never EVER works for me or any of my friends, waste of time. And they could have at least given us CO-OP.
Conclusion
So...comes down to a decision. What rating do I think It deserves? Hmm...I think I'll give It a: 4.7 out of 5.0 because all though their was some faults In the game and for It being pretty much a launch title for the Vita I was very Impressed for the most part, It can only get better Great job Bend studio.
Maybe more to come. Feel free to leave a comment. Just wanted yall to know a little about It.
