I do wear glasses and some people with glasses don't look more intelligent. I know some people that can barely spell their name and they wear glasses.

I probably need glasses. My eyesight isn't as good as it was a few years ago, which is a bit worrisome.

I've been too busy to really do anything about it lately. I can still see well enough to pass the DMV eye exam, so I'm fine at the moment.

I'm near sighted and wear glasses, but mostly at home. It's more liberating wearing contacts in public.

I do wear glasses. I have tried contacts only because I am self concious about how I look in them. Contacts bother my eyes. I do think glasses make people seem more sophisticated, however that doesnt always ring true lol

I don't wear glasses, and have no bother in the belief of stereotyping the idea that they come off as more intelligent.

I don't wear glasses. The stereotypical thing that glasses make someone look smart is a psychological reaction. It is mainly altered by how your parents react and the people you spend the most time around. I, too, have many good friends who wear glasses. I have no problem with them. I spend some of my time wearing other people's glasses just so I can remember what it feels like to be them. Having to wear hem all the time. I know it is bad for my eyesight when I do this but I simply cannot resist the temptation.
