Ever join the chatbox to find nobody there? If so, you should check out the RPG Lounge IRC Channel! There's always at least one person there!

If you are familiar with IRC already, you can connect to the channel using your own client at "irc.mibbit.net", channel name "#rpglounge".

I hope to see more people in there!

The Mibbit widget is just as simple, if not moreso, as Chatzy. The Chatbox is honestly the easiest, but it doesn't always have people in it.

This thread isn't that old. It's still pretty high in the announcements sub-forum. Hunter was fine posting on this, as it is still a relevant topic. If, however, the IRC was no longer existent, it would be considered necroing. It still exists, though, so it is fine.

I hope this clears stuff up.

Always awaiting newcomers in the IRC! If you log on and I don't greet you, simply say my name, and it will alert me that you're there. I don't always watch the window, so please be patient.

I personally think incidents like that are the cause for these rules, and congratulate the people who take responsibility.

I thought I would try to raise more awareness for the IRC Channel in here. Using my knowledge of mSL (mIRC Scripting Language) I have created a Bot which is pretty simple right now, but I'm hoping to extend on it in future. The Bot will greet you as you join and tell you how to change your nickname. It'd be really awesome to see some new people in the IRC Channel, also if you want a custom join message for the IRC Channel let me know - in the channel - it'll be limited to that nick only however.

It's also a convient way to gain a staff members attention as I'm in the IRC channel 95% of the time I'm awake, and Cyrus is also in there most of the time regardless if he's awake or asleep.
