Finally the 17th of August has dawned upon us all and RPG Lounge has turned one, alas. After months of posts, topics, new members, events, we have finally reached our first major milestone. I remember first starting this forum as something out of pure boredom with my friend, GonFreecs, and discussing ideas until the idea of an RPG forum came about. At first, RPG Lounge was purely a forum for RPG gaming until the idea was settled it would have role playing in it not long after the initial release.

After the forum had been touched up and spruced with a theme, some role plays were created; few members would join by the week. I prominently remember the role plays with Hunter, Demyx, Nemo, Pris and Just which were humorous and somewhat embarrassing now that I look back at them. Most of the people back then on the forum were friends from school and accomplices whom I had known in real life. After about a month from the initial release, some moderators were brought into the forum, along with our grandeur other admin, Cyrus. Soon after this, more members came in, soon rising to the hundreds, along with posts rising rapidly. Not long after, we stand to this day, with great users and a yearlong of history.

Firstly, I’d like to thank all the members on the forum, even the ones which are banned; you’ve all been a massive help to the forum’s development, contributing ideas and bringing posts to the forum. RPG Lounge could never of prospered without you guys, and I’m extremely thankful for that. A big thank you also goes to all the donators which have helped get rid of ads, copyrights, and implement a task bar. You guys have been one of the biggest helps. However, the people that have held the forum together, is the awesome staff members we have. All the reviewers, steam coordinators, moderators and admins, I don’t know where RPG Lounge would be without you guys. You’re all great, funny and nice people which I can rely on when I’m busy and look after the forum. Thank you; everyone.

Happy birthday RPG Lounge, I hope we can survive yet another year.

Well, all of you, I'm so glad to spend these few months with you all, and even though I'm nobody here, I have some great friends, and this forum is really, really awesome. And I've had a TON of fun, you guys are all so laid-back. Anyway, thanks, I hope I can stay longer with you guys' permission. Once again, you all are awesome. Even though I stink at RPing, it's such a privilege to be here.

Okay! I'm going to make a speech despite it being late but: Better late than never! In my short time at RPGL I've seen so much and learned a lot, it's been an amazing experience and while I've only met a tiny amount of people here I feel like I've been accepted into the club. I want to thank Jamie(Anorak) for yelling at me to join here and I guess inturn thank Cyrus for making me meet Jamie which led to me joining here. Anyways I could drag on and on. But I wanted to say thanks to Jamie, for yelling at me to come here and thanks to all of you who I have met for making me feel fit in here thanks! It means a lot and remember Hats!  

Awwwww GREAT SPEECH ANO! Here's one of my own :3

I used to only rp with people I knew in real life (meaning only one person lol ) and one day I stopped rping with that one person and really wanted to get into rp again so I went online and found an rp site to join. Honestly, it stunk. It had way too many problems to count but hey, that's not the point of this speech. I distinctly remember the day I was on that site and had just recently met Ano, not long after meeting him he asked me to join the site he had made. I said yes out of courtesy and so we could continue our rp on a site that wasn't so poo-ish but I didn't think much would come out of it. To my pleasant surprise I had been accepted into a truly loving and amazing community. All of the members on here I count as precious friends and I am truly grateful for all they have done. I've been through a lot since joining and the people on here have helped me every step of the way. I am so thankful to have met so many great friends. The people on here make me feel truly appreciated and I don't want to think about where I would be without them, they've helped me through so much. YOU GUYS have helped me through so much and I just want to say Thank You. Really, it means so much to me. I also want to give a big thank you to Anorak for making and introducing me to a site that has now become a second home to me. Again, thank you everyone for being my precious friends and I will make sure to stay with this site and help it in any ways that I can. :3

Also, I want to thank everyone who nominated and voted for me to become Member of the Year, you guys have no idea how much it means to me. I LOVE YOU RPG LOUNGE!!!!

Sorry for babbling and being so late on my babble, I didn't see this topic, and as for babbling, I just had so much to say! I needed to portray my feelings!!!!

I’ve not been here long, so there’s little to add.
But this site I found, it’s not half bad.
I’ve had some time, to think it through.

This is my Speech, So... Here it goes

When I joined back when this all started it was only a small community that slowly rolling, and Now one year later, This Site is Booming with New members and Stuff. I am proud to be part of all of it, and To finish this speech, I say 'Thank you' to all the Admins and Moderators and Members who made it all possible, and a special thank you to all my new found friends I have gained through out the journey. And a Ultimate Thank you to, Anorak, For making this Site at the Start and taking me under his wing.
