SPARTAN LEDGENDS

It is war. Flames arose from the outside of the UNSC Firefox Base. Covenant were bombarding at base with plasma. Marines were being killed each second, and it looked like they stood no chance.
Hunter117, or Hunter for short, was training with other Spartans as an alarm blasted through a loud speaker.
“All personal, evacuate out of this base immediately, this is not a drill!”
Hunter grabbed a Shotgun and a Sniper-Rifle, as he started running towards the door with the other Spartans.

Joseph ran around the gloomy corridor, his armour clanking against his perspiration covered skin. He grabbed an SMG from the rack, before grabbing a clip of ammo - loading it into the weapon with a resounding click. He pointed the gun forward as he rested a finger on the trigger, sprinting forward. With a mere four steps, the wall in front of him bent for exploding, throwing him back to the ground, smoke seeping into the room instantly.

Joseph stumbled back to his feet as something grabbed his leg and threw him back to the ground, a grotesque creature standing above him - heavy breathing, saliva dripping from a strange mouth formation. The monster's outline was only visible, the smoke covering most of his surroundings. Instinctively, he grabbed his gun and shot at the creature twice, before rolling away and taking another two shots. As he did so, the smoke began to dissipate to reveal the gargantuan creature, it's skin like a shield and it's mouth something unorthodox. He'd only heard rumours of these creatures and few pictures in confidential files.

Without any further hesitation, he took another shot at the monster, before kicking it to the ground with his boots. He stepped over the body and looked at the massive hole it had created in the wall. Joseph aimed his gun down the gloomy space which had been created and took a slow step forward, glass crunching beneath his feet. "Ain't no rest for the wicked." He muttered as he removed one hand from the gun and placed a hand on the metal cross which was bound around his neck. With a soft sigh, he progressed through the darkness, light flickering on and off occasionally - most of them broken from the explosion.

As he came ahead, he could hear the faint sounds of gunshots and the throttle of vehicles above the roof. He had to find a way out of here, his surroundings carried an aura of... danger and insecurity. Joseph ran a hand along the wall, before freezing - hearing something scuttle forward, ceasing as he froze. He took a hesitant step forward as something lit up - a green colour - before a plasma ball hit his leg and he reeled in pain. One of the aliens giggled with delight as it ran at him, chorusing with glee. Joseph swivelled around and shot at the two creatures before falling to the ground, clutching his leg which began to spill blood over the metallic ground.

"Do you need help there?" Hunter asked."Joseph?

Joseph looked up, keeping his hand on the aperture in his face. His face turned somewhat disgruntled as he winced in pain, clearing his throat. "I-I've been shot." He stammered, moving his hand away from the flesh to reveal the gaping hole which pulsated and spat out blood. Once Hunter had seen the wound, he instantly pressed his bloodied hand against it once again, gasping as more pain jolted throughout the hole of his body.

Hunter pulled out a medi-kit and healed Josephs wound. Elites came round the corner as Hunter pumped them with lead.

Joseph gasped with relief as he finally came to his feet, gripping his teeth and clenching his teeth. He looked down at where the wound was an gave a slight nod before running forward. "What's your name?" He asked as he shot down two grunts which turned a corner, holding the same guns he had been shot with.

"I'm Hunter, we will be working together for a while. We better quickly grab our Mjolnir Armour before we are any more hurt."

He gave a nod as he swerved a corner, shooting at another two grunts which snarled with displeasure. "Lead the way." Joseph exclaimed over the hissing of smoke and flames, discarding the old ammo magazine and replacing it with a new one.

We went into this wide open room, full of scientists getting there work and trying to escape. I put on my Cromer blue armour as I helped some of the scientists..

Joseph burst through the metallic door with Hunter, his gun pivoting from side to side to find the blood splattered ground and the scuttling scientists. The bodies of grunts were piled in the corner, near a man-made (or monster-made) opening in the wall, blue marks outlining the destruction. Joseph then looked at the racks of armour, stepping toward it as he pulled on a fully black helmet, followed by the other numerous pieces of armour.

Once suited up, rolled his shoulders backwards, noticing the scientists had been set off elsewhere by Hunter. "Ready to leave?" Joseph asked.

"I wanna get out of the S*IT as quick as I can. This place is horrible."

Suddenly, two Hunters burst through the doors.

Joseph flipped around instinctively as he took a whole round out of his gun to fire at the massive animals which had burst into the room. Once he was out of ammo, he rolled across the ground, hiding in a small ammunition room. After hastily reloading he moved out of the cover, preparing to fire again.

Hunter threw an incininary grenade at one of the Hunters, killing him instantly.

Joseph rolled out of the way as one of the Hunter's blasted out a green beam, which instantly crumbled nearby and aroused fire. He rolled back to his normal position - the heat of gun fire forcing perspiration down his face. He took another magazine, shooting madly at the Hunter where flesh was exposed until it staggered - falling over to the ground.

"Lets get a move on, before more appear!"

Joseph gave a soft nod as he ran ahead, moving through the flickering lights amidst the gloom. "Where to now?" He called over the reloading of his gun.

"We need to get out of this building ASAP!"

Joseph gave a nod as he followed Hunter's every move, being cautious as he moved through the gloomy space.

2 honour guards charged around the corner with energy swords.

Hunter pulled out his shotgun.

Joseph, weapon already grasped in his sweaty hands, shot at one of the honor guards, watching his bullets rebounding off their thick armor. He rolled into a cover of sorts and shot again, at the flesh in between the armor before reloading.

Hunter activated his camouflage ability and went behind the other elite, and assassinated him.
The other grabbed Hunter and threw him across the room, majorly injuring him.

Joseph ran toward the massive alien, ramming the end of his gun into it's face before sticking the gun into it's neck, firing three times before it dropped on the ground - limp. "Hunter, you alright?" He said, moving over to his fallen accomplice.

Hunter struggled to mumble, "Okay," as he limped over to grab his shotgun.

Joseph reeled around a corner, his mouth hangign agape from what he saw. Bodies upon bodies were piled in the narrow hallway, plasma marks covering the walls. "Shit..." He muttered, taking a step back.

"Careful, drones may be about in the pipes.."
His voice was taken over by the sound of buzzing.
