With Halloween incoming, us staff members have decided to create a "spookifying" competition. The contest will require a camera or webcam, so if you don't have one, you may want to do one of the alternatives which are listed below.

The competition will need you taking a picture of something, and then involve you sprucing it up with "spooky" things, such as scary pictures (making sure you're allowed to use them in your work) or things you can draw on yourself. For the sprucing up part, you'll need an image editing program. If you don't have one, GIMP might be a good, free choice.

Alternative Choices:

If you use a picture owned by someone else, make sure to have permission. If the image is not specifically stated to be free to use, you MUST ask the artist before using it.

That's up to you. There's no restrictions on what you can take a picture of, it just must abide by our rules.

The image is of an old place (which I'm pretty sure is abandoned due to the current state it's in, but there's a possibility there might be someone residing there, as I've walked past one time and seen the overgrown grass been mown) which I walk past when going to school. I used paint.net for the edits and used stock images for the pumpkin and ghoul in the window.
