| Day 1 - The Beginning.
It's my first day in the World of Ascension, and I have been plunged in the underground abyss which I reside in. After meeting by distressed daughter which has a strange addiction to school and a crave to the outside world, I am off to my work (I have no idea what I do for work). The elevator is the only route to the places underground I am set to work so it's the route I take.
As the elevator moves, I find it is jammed and the emergency power suddenly kicked in. To my dismay, the elevator is broken and I must move along, finding what the problem could of been. As I move through the darkness I have been plunged in to, I hear strange noises... which remind me of bones cracking and blood being gurgled. With a shudder, I continue through elongated hallways and mysterious wreckages - reading awkward notes as I go along.
It seems I have discovered what has been creating the disturbing noises - some zombie like creature which has been emitted with an infection. It's seen my torch light and I am chased by this creature as it dismays the body it was recently devouring. I find a nearby bathroom which I slip into, losing the trail of the blood thirsty monster and get a health pack and some batteries.
With my supplies stocked up, I exit the bathroom and sneak past the foul creature which guards the objective I seek to complete. To continue through a room to turn on the electricity, I must collect a key which is far ahead. After continous looking and searching, the key is found in a briefcase and I place it in my inventory. All is good so far but my health is considerable low from some of the wounds I received from that monster. I used the only health pack I have and move out of the room where I receive a flashback of my wife.
I move back toward the room which is locked, sneaking past the zombie once again before opening the door. To my delight, it opens and I enter the circuit board room where I enable some of the electricity in the building. After that, I return to the shipping docks in the underground structure where I encounter a ledge I need to jump. After jumping the ledge, I find a series of rooms where I hear heavy inhaling following my every move.
With not many batteries left, I then see something ahead, a figure moving in the dimmering light bulbs above - it was a collasal beast - and it running straight toward me.
Day 2 - The Beast.
The chase is on.
I move away from the monster and run ahead - narrowly missing a swipe of its collosal talons which beckon my death. I have retreated from the monster and it seems it has lost me. That's when I find my daughter - Viola - huddled inside the shelf of a cupboard, scared to death. On my trip here, I had found the person I set to babysit Viola killed violently. I try calming down my daughter but she runs off to find the woman which was baby sitting her and the entrance she went through was trapped by a large amount of rock and debris.
Without further hesitation, I needed to find another way around, so I moved through another series of doors where I find a lengthy staircase and at the bottom is one of the workers - violently killed. He has a gun in his hand so I take it and place it in my inventory in case any more of the monstrosities approached me.
Feeling a little safer, I proceeded in to another room and went to find Viola when I saw the large monster again - a black mist glowing around it freaky presence. I try firing at the create with the gun I collected earlier but it has no effect so I retreat in to a temperature control room where I hide in absaloute darkness. After a few seconds, the monster loses me once more and I move along to complete my objective.
(The next part of the game is a part I have not experienced due to glitching which I received which disable me from proceding. Thus, I needed to... do some tweaking which enabled me to fast forward a little bit until I find Viola once again.)
Day 3 - Escape.
I have found Viola once again and the promise to escape this hell hole is stronger than ever. She's hurt and still scared out of her wits. As I move along, I manage to kill one of the smaller monsters and find the exit to this place. Unfortunately, it is locked and Viola's hopes decrease even more. The door is powered by electricity, so if enable the doors electricity, it should open.
After a little looking, I find a Breaker Room which is in the middle of a room located next to a near arrangement of furniture. Ahead is a elongated hole which I need to jump over. To do so, I placed Viola on the ground and jumped - promising her I would return.
I jump over the gap and retrieve some bullets which are lying on the ground. Up ahead is an array of circuits which are placed in an orderly fashion. I turn on the circuit which will enable the access to the door, only to hear one of monsters creep up on Viola. |
