Coral looked at him curiously and went over to him. "Yes?"

"come with me for a minute" he stared walking down a path

Coral looked at him curiously but followed him silently down the path, looking around at the trees in the moonlight.

" tell me somthing about yourself."

Coral was surprised by the request but thought for a moment as to what to say. "Hm... Well... I like being outdoors, I love climbing trees and swimming too." She said with a small smile. "Though I haven't been to any good swimming lakes in a while."

" ah i didn't realy peg you for a swimmer, but im sure big mouth could help you with that."

"huh?" she asked.

" you just look like more of a book worm idk."
she yawned a bit.

Coral smiled. "Well I'm kinda both, but I don't get to read that often so I had to find something I could do a lot." She looked at him curiously. "If you're tired we should go back and get some sleep."

" i set up a sleeping area for you, i wasn't planning on sleeping tonight."

She looked at him surprised. "But you need to sleep if you want to be awake enough to function properly in the day..." She said looking at him.

completely ignoring her, he asked her a question.
" who is this leith perosn?"

Coral paused a moment then continued walking, looking down. "He was... someone who said he loved me... then tried to use my powers for his own benefit... He's Nerina's brother..."

" that punk i was about to bash in before she got in my way?"

Coral nodded meekly.

" ehhh i see, i think you should know in life trusting the word "love" could get you killed"

Coral continued to look down and nodded sadly. "I know... I don't really plan to let myself believe in love again..." She said quietly.

gray showed a little hurt on his face at that
".....i did too..."

Coral looked up at him confused. "What do you mean?" She asked.

he quickly looked away
".....nothing......but you on the other hand need somthing."

"What's that?" She asked though she was still curious as to what he'd meant she didn't want to risk their unsteady friendship by asking the wrong questions.

as much as he didn't like hugs he felt she needed one.
he grabbed her hand and pulled her into a hug.
" to cry....."

Coral's eyes widened in surprise and she blushed slightly as he held her. "G-Gray...?" Hearing his words she timidly tried to push him away, "N-No... it's ok... I'm fine..."

"....coral its not......i used to think that crying is weakness but....someone showed me i was wrong..."
he hugged her tighter.
" let it out, or you'll be weak forever."

Coral felt tears well in her eyes, no one had ever treated her so tenderly, ever told her it was ok for her to cry, so finally she did. She clung onto Gray and began to sob hard, she cried for her parents, who gave her up for money, she cried for her years of running, hiding, and isolation, she cried for the betrayal of a man she thought she could love, she cried for every shit thing that had ever happened in her life.
