Chrysanthema looked down as she heard the sounds of two people making their way passed under the tree, she his closer to the trunk and watched as the girl caught up with the boy.

Leith was done with his work and went to find his sister

"Nerina! you can't just skip out on chores like this!...."
he lets out a annoyed sigh as his took a seat on the opposite side of the girl.

" lazy......trouble maker...."
she grunts as he has no idea anyone else is around.

Chrysanthema continues to hide in the tree as she hears the boy and then he appears, she tries to remain as still as possible but the apples she'd half eaten slipped out of her hands and landed on the ground in front of him, she stifled a gasp of fear.

Leith notices a apple roll by him and jumps up.
"...oh...phew its just a apple....hmmm"

he pauses as he hears a voice softly, but surely.
he summons some water from the grass, and lets it flow like a snake along the ground.
it circles around the tree, then quickly splashes the girl in the face.
Leith stands back waiting to see if anyone was actually there.

Chrysanthema jumps back and sputters, then screams as she falls out of the tree.

at the sound of the scream leith stands back as the girl fell to the ground
".....ahhh...HA! i knew there was a spy around..."

"Ow!" Chrysanthema hit the ground hard but luckily wasn't high enough to break anything in the fall. She scooted back and curled up in the fetal position, trembling. "I-I'm not a... spy... p-please... I'm sorry... please... don't hurt me... don't use me... please..." She said obviously afraid of something in particular he could do.

Leith sprinted over
" whoa whoa......hey calm down i was jsut joking...."

he watches the the girl's odd behavior, and couldn't help but feel guilty.
with his sister, she would just yell or laugh it off.
Leith face palms himself saying idiot under his breath.

"....girl...its ok im sorry man,.here let me help you.."
he extends his hand for her to grab feeling terrible.

Chrysanthema looks up at him, still trembling, her eyes timid and fearful but she slowly takes his hand and stands up. "I-I'm sorry..."

Leith wasn't used to being or even really talking to girls.
well he traveled with his sister, but to him Nerina was not really girl like.... she wasn't a tom boy actually he didn't know what to label her.
he stood back a bit sensing the girl was scared.

Chrysanthema looked at him timidly. "W-Who are you...?" She asked as she slowly stopped trembling.

She looked down timidly. "C-Chrysanthema..."

he stared at her oddly
"....you don't look like a water bender.....or earth or air.....or fire....what are you?"
he ask as he places his hand under his chin in a thinking pose.

Chrysanthema looked a little fearful as he asked this question but she looked down as she answered. "I-I was born in the... air tribe..."

feeling a little more open he lightly tugged on her clothing
"...this doesn't look like air temple attire....."
he smirked
" you lying to me?"

Chrysanthema jumped and blushed slightly as he pulled on her clothing and she looked down. "I-I was born there but... I'm n-not an air bender... I-I'm not anything..."

he gave a little chuckle as he handed her the apple from before.
" don't worry i wasn't untill i reached 14...my sister is better then me thou..."

Chrysanthema took the apple timidly and wiped it off. "O-Oh...?"

he shut up before he mention anything more about it.
it was touble enough that she was an idiot and a wanted criminal.

"J-Just searching for food and... hiding... from the tribe leaders..."

" why? did you cause trouble?"

leith's grin faded as he looked at the girl with sad eyes.
